Demanding requirements in temperature cycling and thermal shock testing require equipment of the first order. Tenney meets the challenge with chambers sized to your needs and able to cycle through 270-degree temperature changes in as little as 10 seconds.
Sudden, extreme temperature changes are part of the expected environment for electronic component assemblies in military applications. To test the resistance of such element to temperature change, Tenney developed its Thermal Shock Chambers. The chambers utilize two-zone, three-zone, and dual-load configurations to accomplish shock test requirements. Available in several sizes (including the T-Shock Junior bench-top model), Tenney Thermal Shock Chambers are outstanding choices for all who must conduct mil-spec temperature cycling and thermal shock tests.
Fully automated and impressively capable, the WSP Thermal Shock Chamber from Tenney offers an air-to-air system that varies temperatures from 200° to -70°C and back in 10 seconds or less. A moveable chamber automatically transfers the test load from one chamber to another. All but eliminating problems with condensation, the Tenney WSP employs a dry nitrogen feed system to facilitate oxygen purging, so metal parts in chilled workloads stay condensation-free. Special heater keep the cold chamber frost-free during extended test, and the system features solid-state overtemperature/undertemperature protection. |
